Our annual Festival of Dance is coming up quickly! The performance will be at the Anderson Theater at Bishop Verot on Sunday, June 13, at 3:00 pm. The house will open at 2:30pm.

Dress Rehearsals are all day on Saturday, June 12, after the tech crew has had a chance to prepare for our dancers. The schedule will run approximately:

Dancers Arrive (11:00am)

11:30 am – 1:00 pm

1:00 – 1:30 pm: Crew Lunch – Dancers Continue

1:00 – 2:00 pm

2:00- 3:30 pm: Broadway Bound Scene EVERYONE!

3:30 – 4:00 pm: Finale

4:00 – 5:30 pm

5:30 pm: Madam Butterfly per needs (Required Rehearsal – in Costume)

Also, C. Smith Photography will be in our studio on Monday, June 14, to take formal pictures of our dancers. You may sign up for an appointment at the studio.

Join us for a Tropical Holiday! Our annual Open House is this Saturday, December 12, at 3 pm in the First Baptist Church Activities Center. As always, this show is open to the public at no charge, and is a wonderful time of fun, friendship, and, of course, dancing! This year we are featuring our Aloha Dancers and would like to encourage you to come dressed for the tropics. Don’t forget to bring friends and family, and a plate of cookies to share!

Additionally, many of you may know that Ms. BoJeanne recently celebrated her birthday, and we would love to honor her and her service by a small token from each dancer. We are asking each dancer to bring a single stem flower to create one lovely mixed bouquet as a studio wide gift. While you’re picking this one up for Ms. BoJeanne, pick a small bouquet up for your own dancer to celebrate her accomplishments and hard work this fall!

We’ll see you all on December 12; after that, enjoy a well deserved holiday break! The studio will be closed until January 4, 2010. We’ll see you then! Keep an eye on our website, too, for calendar information, pictures from the show, and a website makeover for the new year! Happy holidays!

  • Friday, December 11 at Edison Estates (6:00 p.m.)
  • Saturday, December 12 at our Holiday Show (12:30 p.m.)
  • Sunday, December 13 at the Burroughs Home (12:30 p.m.)

  • Bare Feet – wear flip-flops.  Volunteer will collect all & keep in big box @ performance time.
